about Suzanne
Suzanne Hostrawser is a leading specialist in the area of Literacy Instruction, Coaching and Differentiation.
Suzanne has more than twenty years teaching experience. She holds a Master's Degree in Literacy, Language, and Culture from the University of Michigan. She was fortunate to work and travel as a STEP™ Trainer Coordinator at UChicago Impact, University of Chicago. Suzanne served many years as an elementary teacher, a Reading Specialist, a Literacy Coach and a Differentiation Specialist. In addition, she provided services as a Literacy Consultant for Kendall Hunt Publishing. She has extensive experience creating professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators. In addition, she works as a one-on-one reading tutor, specializing in early literacy.
But, beyond all of those experiences, Suzanne has a great passion for helping students. She believes that all students are capable of reading and thinking deeply, engaging in transformative conversations, and becoming lifelong learners. She believes in the power of people working together to create 21st century readers, writers and thinkers. Join her.
